Pedagogical Pillars

At Escola Marillac we are committed to emotional education and quality and educational innovation, based on practical and vivid activities and where the student becomes the centre of learning. Our referents are Montessori, Decroly, Steiner and Ferrer i Guàrdia. However, we are inspired by the Finnish School, from which we have adapted some features to our reality.

 

The curricular subjects are distributed in established schedules and they work combining theoretical classes, workshops, projects, spaces and free circulation. In this way, they impart knowledge, work their consolidation individually or in groups, enhancing the competence of learning to learn, the use of ICT and collaborative work.

 

We educate children for a future in which they are responsible, who know how to reason, with critical thinking, autonomous, according to their evolutionary stage, free, curious, competent and happy.
